Hair Care

1. Keep It Clean, But Keep It Balanced

We recommend that you wash /co-wash your raw hair once or twice a week. Clean extensions last longer, so shampoo regularly to prevent product buildup from oils and dirt. Alternating between co-washing and clarifying shampoos is ideal—stay consistent for that flawless finish.

Note: Raw hair is not for everyone. You have to treat this hair as if it grew out of your own scalp. Raw hair should be stored and kept properly. Moisture also plays a huge role when dealing with raw hair.

2. Hydration is Non-Negotiable

Moisture also plays a huge role when dealing with raw hair. Deep conditioning isn’t just a luxury—it’s a necessity. This step keeps your extensions soft, tangle-free, and frizz-resistant, especially if you’re rocking curly textures. Hydrated hair is happy hair, and it shows.

For raw hair:  When the hair is no longer attached to the scalp, it’s very hard to lock in moisture

To lock in moisture on your raw extensions, when your done conditioning your hair, you want to add a leave-in and a little bit of oil.

3. Dry Right, Stay Bright

Air drying may seem convenient, but proper drying ensures longevity. If you wash you hair extensions while they’re in your head, make sure that dry your hair underneath completely. Thoroughly dry your braids or mold down and extensions, avoiding moisture buildup and unpleasant odors. A little extra effort goes a long way in maintaining your hair .

Note: We DO NOT RECOMMEND you using silicone mix on raw hair, only on virgin hair

4. Master the Art of Nighttime Care

Nighttime protection is your secret weapon for lasting glam. Use a satin scarf, bonnet, or pillowcase before bed, it preservers moisture and reduces friction. For added security, double up—your morning hair will thank you!

5. Handle Curls and Waves with Care

Keep your curls and waves defined by braiding or twisting them at night. Protect your style with a satin scarf, so you wake up with your texture intact and ready for the day.

6. Skip the Heat, Embrace the Treat

Give your natural hair a break by minimizing heat use. Always wrap your  extensions at night or use pin curls for a no-heat curl option. When heat is necessary, keep it light to avoid damage and maintain your hair’s natural luster.

7. Go Light on the Products

Your extensions shine brightest with minimal interference. Stick to lightweight, nourishing products to maintain their natural beauty and avoid buildup. Less truly is more!
